Sophie and Jeff's wedding was one we were looking forward to all year! They are two people who's warm and friendly energy is contagious. You feel great being around them, and you feel amazing watching them share their vows love for each other with everyone on their wedding day.
They are both pretty big Star Trek fans... and they decided to have some fun with their wedding plans by incorporating some awesome ideas into their day. It was done so without being over the top or taking away from their amazing day either. I loved it. There were Starfleet delta boutonnieres (fyi... i googled the name of the symbol :P), a friend created some beautiful necklaces for the girls to wear too, our engagement pictures we had taken earlier this year were used up on the screens. And throughout the reception an incredible slideshow/movie montage including video clips, sound effects and music helped tie the whole idea together. Guests were able to learn a little bit about the show and feel entertained. My absolute favourite part was the couple's grand entrance! They stormed into the ball room shooting off their phasers! The joy and excitement coming from the two of them, seriously made me tear up as they walked past me and up to their head table! xo.
I can't say enough about this day, from start to finish, it was just lovely. The Ceremony at St Johns Catholic Church was beautiful, and even the priest declared his love for the couple and wished them to 'live long and prosper'. We had a great time taking some formal portraits in the afternoon, and their reception at the Oasis Conference centre was so much fun. Thanks for having us be a part of your day.
