Polish Veteran's Country Lodge Wedding - Daryl and Lisa

Lisa and Daryl's wedding was one that felt true to themselves. I loved how relaxed they both were throughout the day. From Lisa walking barefoot down the aisle to pizza delivery in the portraits (and reception), their personalities shone through.  The dance party was one of the loudest and most raucous we have seen in a while.

The day started off with a lot of singing and dancing, emotional readings of personal vows, and a very sweet first look between the Bride and her father and (new) brother. The ceremony and the reception were both at the Polish Veteran's Hall - Country Lodge, a great location for this rustic feeling wedding. During the portrait session, there was a lot more singing and dancing, some playground fun, pizza, and yoga.

A wonderful day full of laughter, tears, singing and dancing, pizza, family and friends.

Art Gallery of Alberta Wedding - Erica and Shawn

These two beautiful people had a wedding to remember! Erica and Shawn met as student teachers during a practicum placement and, after a good amount of nudging from their team, they finally started dating. We loved seeing how many people were rooting for them and were excited to share their wedding day with them! :)

The wedding felt like a breeze for us to photograph. The two of them are warm, friendly, and always smiling. The Art Gallery of Alberta looked exceptional due to the styling and decorating of Jennifer Bergman Weddings and the floral arrangements of Fabloomosity. The ceremony featured some beautiful accompaniment by the very talented Michael Bernard Fitgerald and Russell Broom, and they added an extra set of songs during the cocktail reception. After the delicious meal, touching speeches, and the slideshow DJ Harman B kept the crowd dancing late into the evening. We were thrilled to be a part of such a sweet and beautiful wedding.

Edmonton Old Country Lodge wedding - Chelsea and Jay

Chelsea and Jay's wedding has been a long time coming! In particular for their friends Darren and Megan who'd set them up years ago. It's always nerve-racking to set up two friends on different sides of the couple. There is potential for greatness, but it can also be a risky move in disturbing the balance of friendships. These two were a perfect match though. They completely compliment each other and haven't looked back since! Now they're avid Edmonton Eskimo fans together, and their friendships have grown even stronger.

Chelsea and Jay are long time season ticket holders and they rented out Commonwealth Stadium for an hour during their portrait session! It was such a treat to photograph them and their friends in such a fun venue and one of their favourite places to hang out.

After photographing their adorable first look and taking some wedding portraits, we headed to the Old Country Lodge for their ceremony and reception with everyone else. It was such a fun filled sunny day! Thanks for having us be a part of it!
