Couple's Photography - Alberta - Erica and Shawn

Erica and Shawn are two sweethearts who have such genuine fun and relaxed personalities. Photographing engagement sessions for couples who book weddings with us, give us an opportunity to learn a little more about each other before the wedding, figure out how they click and work as a couple. It makes our job as photographers a little easier when we can help direct and pose them a little more naturally.

With these two, they talked about being nervous and not used to having their pictures taken, but they were so easy to photograph. Always smiling and laughing, they just seemed happy to be together. :) 

Shawn plays the guitar and actually pulled it out while he proposed! He's been teaching Erica too lately, so they brought it along for the session.  

We're definitely looking forward to their upcoming wedding next year.

This family was a treat to photograph! Cheryl and Laura's little ones get to grow up together as cousin/friends from day one! We met up with them at a park near Cheryl and her husband's place to take some fall family pictures together.

This sweetheart will be one next month.  The first birthday is such a special milestone. It's not just a celebration for their birthday, but also a date to acknowledge the parents.  Getting through the first year is huge. So much is experienced and shared. Things change rapidly, and this time in their lives marks the beginning of toddlerhood. I had a great time photographing these two, and their sweet bond. Emma is adorable. She is a sweet, spirited and a social butterfly. She's bound for greatness. :)
