Kimberley B.C. Wedding Photography - Kaity and Dan

Last month we had a chance to photograph a cousin of mine get married! Dan grew up in Kimberley, BC, so we only saw each other during large family gatherings over the holiday seasons. He and Kaity were high school sweethearts! They were close friends who inevitably became a couple through their high school years. They've been engaged for quite a while, but both finished some post secondary first before setting their wedding date.  They've since moved to Edmonton, and its been great having a chance to see them together in a more relaxed setting.

They included a variety of personal touches though out their day, including having our Uncle Clarence officiate the ceremony.  Their Reception was held at the Kimberley Conference Centre and we even had a chance head up the mountain for some beautiful wedding portraits with the whole town of Kimberly in site. It was a wonderful day, full of family and friends whole heartedly celebrating their wedding!

A Blue Meadows Winter Wedding - Mandy and Dustin

Mandy and Dustin had one of the most beautiful winter days for their wedding last January. Yes, it was bitter cold, and no it didn't actually snow on their day, but it for the entire weekend our city fell under this incredible blanket of fog, and the tree's were alined with this thick, almost magical hore frost. For a wedding photographer, that type of day is serindipidice. Thankfully the couple and their bridal party were troopers and let us trapes them through some snowy fields for more than just a couple of minutes.

These two have shared some intense ups and downs over the last couple of years, and when they decided to move their wedding date up a few months prior, they had full support from their family and friends, it was amazing to see what they were all able to accomplish together for the event. The ceremony and reception out at Blue Meadows were absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for having us be a part of your day!

Hastings Lake Wedding - Brandi and Nathan

Nathan and Brandi met driving ambulances together. With a similar sense of humor they soon became friends...and then more than friends. Nathan knew right away that Brandi was for him. It was tons of fun photographing their day. All the details were perfect, everyone looked incredible and Brandi and Nathan were on cloud nine together the entire day.

After escaping the rain and having a gorgeous ceremony at Hastings Lake Gardens, they held a fun country wedding reception at north cooking lake Community hall. The food was delicious, the atmosphere felt like a family dinner and everyone danced the night away.

Here are some of our favorite images. Congrats again to you both.
