Alexandra and Mackenzie - Edmonton Wedding

Alex and Mackenzie's wedding was simply incredible. Not because they had amazing weather, one of the best wedding venues in the city (The Fairmont Hotel MacDonald), filled with beautiful flowers by Graham and Lane (second weekend in a row), or an impeccably dressed and good looking bridal party (All of which they did!)... It was incredible because they are wonderful people and their love was inspiring.

The personal vows they shared were beautifully written.  The faith they shared with each other, their families and friends was paramount and the guests surrounding them were thrilled to be witnessing them.

Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your day,

Edmonton Italian Weddings - Anthony and Laura

Laura and Anthony had one of the biggest bridal parties we've photographed in quite a long time.... 20 people to be exact. I was a little nervous having to think up ideas for them all, but how could they (she) ;) not include them all?? They come from a huge amazing Italian family! If it were possible, I'm sure she would have wanted to include them all.

They had an incredible day. Both sides of their families were thrilled to finally see these two high school sweet hearts share their vows. Each and every speech at the reception was spoken with such admiration and pride for them and their families.  It was lovely to be a part of. Thanks for including us in your day!

Dayna and Joseph - Wedding Photography Edmonton

Dayna and Joey are lovely.  They come from incredible families, and have the bestest of friends.  Its no wonder their wedding day was wonderful. Having been together for quite some time, their families were thrilled to officially be made into one big family.

The day ran smoothly (many thanks to the weather turning and their wedding planner Jenna!) and everyone looked fantastic (especially Dayna, who looked like she stepped out of a fairytale with her floral crown).

I know the speeches aren't everyone's favourite part of a wedding day, but i actually look forward to them each weekend.  Hearing family members or friends get up to share what they love most about the couple makes me happy.  This wedding had a lot of that. So much pride and love for them. It made me happy.

Gordon photographed Dayna's parents' wedding 30 years ago and it was a privilege to be a part of this wedding.  We left this wedding feeling like a part of the family and like we'd made a bunch of new friends.

Congratulations again!
Lots of love,
The Scades
